These General Terms and Conditions govern the mutual rights and obligations between the business “Sandra The Island Storyteller”, Put Grohota 6E, Gornje Selo, Šolta, OIB: 32932748427 (hereinafter: “Organizer”) and the users of guided tours and interpretative walks (hereinafter: “Guest”).
The Organizer operates as a sole proprietorship registered for providing tourist guide services, heritage interpretation, and educational thematic walks, in accordance with the applicable laws of the Republic of Croatia.
1. BOOKING AND RESERVATION
The Guest books the service via email, website, social media, or by phone. When making a reservation, the Guest voluntarily provides the Organizer with personal data necessary to deliver the service.
A reservation is considered valid after the Organizer confirms it and the full amount has been paid, unless otherwise agreed.
2. PRICES AND PAYMENT METHODS
Service prices are stated in EUR and displayed on the website, in the offer, or in the Organizer’s information program. Payment can be made via bank transfer, online payment systems, or on-site as agreed.
3. CANCELLATION BY THE GUEST
– Cancellation up to 48 hours before the scheduled time: full refund of the paid amount.
– Cancellation within 48 hours before the scheduled time: 50% refund.
– No-show for the booked tour: no refund.
4. CANCELLATION AND CHANGES BY THE ORGANIZER
The Organizer reserves the right to cancel or reschedule in case of:
– unforeseen weather conditions,
– illness or unavailability of the guide,
– other force majeure circumstances.
In such cases, the Guest is entitled to a full refund or an agreement on an alternative date.
5. ORGANIZER’S RESPONSIBILITY
The Organizer guarantees professional guiding and implementation of interpretative walks, tours, and workshops in accordance with the announced program. The Organizer is not responsible for:
– Guest’s personal belongings,
– physical injuries resulting from not following the guide’s instructions,
– unforeseen circumstances beyond the Organizer’s control.
6. GUEST’S OBLIGATIONS
The Guest undertakes to:
– follow the guide’s instructions during the tour,
– wear appropriate clothing and footwear suitable for the program and weather conditions,
– inform the Organizer about any health or other specifics that may affect the implementation of the program.
7. PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION (GDPR)
The Organizer collects and processes the Guest’s personal data solely for the purpose of executing the reservation and providing the agreed service. Data is stored in accordance with applicable data protection regulations and is not accessible to third parties except in cases prescribed by law.
By accepting these General Terms and Conditions, the Guest consents to the use of personal data for the stated purposes.
8. COMPLAINTS AND DISPUTES
All complaints must be submitted in writing via email to the Organizer’s address. The Organizer will respond within the statutory deadline.
Any disputes shall fall under the jurisdiction of the competent court according to the Organizer’s registered office.
These General Terms and Conditions apply from the date of publication on the Organizer’s official website and are valid for all services booked after that date.
